How to setup your Sowfund profile

Follow this step-by-step guide to explore all the features you can use to create and customize your Sowfund profile.

To set up your Sowfund profile, follow these steps:

Navigate to Edit my page from the menu

Profile Image: Click the square profile with the camera icon above your name to add a profile image

Currently Serving In: In the “Currently Serving In” section below your name, start typing your country. Select the correct option from the dropdown. Once selected, an additional field will appear for you to choose your state or region

Sowfund URL: Create a unique Sowfund URL. This is the link you’ll use to direct donors to your giving page. This feature is only available for the Pro plan

About Section: Write a brief paragraph about yourself and your story so donors can get to know you better

Additional Topics: Want to share more? Sowfund lets you add extra sections with custom headings and text

Ministry Focus: Select up to four tags that best describe your ministry focus and mission

Where I’ve Served: Type in or select countries you’ve served in. Each selected country will generate a tag displayed on your profile

Snapshots: Add images of you in ministry activities to build trust and connection with donors

Connect With Me: Add links to social media platforms or custom URLs so donors can connect with you online

Donation Preferences: Customize the donation experience for your donors. These features are only available for the Starter and Pro plan:

Donate Call to Action: Personalize the subtext below the Donate heading to give donors a stronger reason to give

Recommended Donation Amounts: Set suggested amounts for both one-time and monthly donations

Thank You Message: Write a message donors will receive after donating

When you’re happy with your profile, click Save Changes at the bottom of the screen to update it
